Engage24 Digital Agency aimed to increase the EAT Restaurant @ Hout Bay Manor email newsletter subscriber base while driving awareness and attendance for upcoming events. Restaurant marketing can all be very “same same”, and our client wanted to push the envelope a bit!
We implemented an in-restaurant offline marketing campaign using bill inserts that encouraged patrons to subscribe to the restaurant’s email newsletter by entering a competition. The inserts also promoted upcoming events, ensuring continuous engagement with diners.
A key driver of success was the waiter staff incentive program, where servers were rewarded for actively encouraging patrons to participate. The top-performing waiter received a monetary bonus or extra time off, fostering enthusiasm and maximising participation.
