In just over 24 hours from now, Apple are set to release yet another flagship smartphone at the iPhone 7 launch event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco at 10 am PDT. So what can expect to see in the new iPhone.
There’s been rumours flying around the industry and some fairly plausible leaks on the internet so we should have a good idea of what the iPhone 7 will bring.
The iPhone 7 is expected to be released in the standard 4.7″ size as well as the mammoth 5.5″ iPhone Plus version. Leaked pictures of packaging leads us to believe Apple will do away with the entry level 16Gb option and start with a 32Gb storage capacity. It’s about time! The higher end iPhone options will include 128Gb and 256Gb options which is absolutely brilliant!
One hardware change in particular has caught the attention of many, much to their disbelief, it seems as though Apple is replacing the standard aux jack on the new iPhone’s with a lightning connector converter and wireless, bluetooth headphones from Beats by Dre. An extra speaker grill has also been spotted on leaked handsets as well as the improvement of a dual lens camera.
iOS 10 isn’t exactly anything new, developers and public beta testers have had their hands on the new operating system for a while now, but as always, Apple will likely release the software update to the public at the end of the keynote presentation tomorrow, bringing fantastic new features to most iPhone’s out there with a simple software update!
